....WHAT A WEEKEND IT WAS!!! ENTHUSIASTS OF ALL-THINGS AMERICANA ENJOYED A GREAT WEEKEND AS U.S SHOWTIME CAME TO TATTON PARK. THE STARS & STRIPES CLASSIC AMERICAN CAR SHOW LITERALLY HAD SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
The weekend of July 4th/5th witnessed a glitzy 'ALL-AMERICAN' extravaganza... a fantastic turnout of U.S vehicles of every size & shape, including chrome classics, stateside sports.. Corvettes, Cadillacs, Mustangs, custom hot rods, pickups, all things military including ex-US Army trucks, Harleys, Goldwings and American-style motorhomes.
This year's attractions also included the ever-popular cavalcades...showgoers were enthralled as iconic American dream machines cruised the showground to Stuart's superbly descriptive commentary on all cavalcade vehicles!
Moreover, the ever-popular 'WALL OF DEATH' had to be seen to be believed.... full-on gravity-defying excitement!!
A ...big thank-you to our live bands over the weekend... CROSSFIRE & The MIDNIGHT PILGRIMS, together with superb young local singer POPPY.
A comprehensive selection of general and auto trade stalls, authentic US line dancing hosted as ever, by DJ PEANUTS.... as well as food and drink refreshments made for a great family day-out.
Fancy watching an authentic wild west shootout? Well, this weekend at Stars & Stripes was the place to be! Commendation to the performers of the LONESTAR RE-ENACTMENT SOCIETY for some terrific wild west scenes. We look forward to seeing them next year.
Finally, a huge vote of thanks to ALL EXHIBITORS & Stall holders who helped create such a great atmospehere, and whose 'drive' and enthusiasm in setting such good standards make for such a great show! |

TATTON PARK IS 'GEARING-UP' FOR ANOTHER SUPER SHOW THIS AUGUST... DON'T MISS THE FORTHCOMING CLASSIC, VINTAGE & SPORTSCAR CAR SHOW ON THE WEEKEND OF AUGUST 21st/22nd.
Magical memories from the 'Golden Age of Motoring' are once again revived in the superb surrounds of Tatton Park.
Regarded by many as their national showcase event, on display, a superb selection of Classic Cars from around 80 car clubs as well as an interesting and diverse range of individual exhibits. Pristine 1950-cars through to sleek, modern sports models. Everything from a MINI to a ROLLS, CLASSIC FORD to QUATTRO and TVR's... just a few of the many marques of distinction representing over 100 years of motoring in attendance at the show.
The massive 2-day AUTOJUMBLE and variety of trade stalls
confirms the huge variety of items on offer and the CAR MART is a bumper bargain-buying opportunity to buy or sell your classic vehicle.
All show exhibits must be pre-entried and will be competing for the prestigious Classic Car awards.
With something for everyone, including kids rides and refreshments, it's a superb opportunity to step back in time in attractive surroundings and see classic cars on display.
Open daily 9am-4pm, show admission is ADULTS £7.50, CHILDREN UNDER-12 FREE, Entry to park £5.
